Medzinárodný rok skla OSN 2022

Organizácia Spojených národov vlani v máji vyhlásila rok 2022 za Medzinárodný rok skla. Je to prvýkrát, čo Organizácia Spojených národov pomenovala rok s jediným materiálom, ktorý zdôrazňuje nenahraditeľnú a dôležitú úlohu skla v mnohých oblastiach, ako sú technológie, hospodárstvo, životné prostredie, kultúra a spoločnosť, ako aj jeho úlohu pri plnení výzvy a budovanie udržateľnej spoločnosti. Inkluzívna spoločnosť, ktorá umožňuje globálnu hospodársku obnovu, podporuje rozvoj nových technológií a mnoho ďalších príspevkov. Ako základný materiál s dlhou históriou sa sklo oficiálne dostalo do centra svetovej scény.
